Starting in August, 2006, Walt Disney World celebrated its 35 anniversary and released a series of thirty six limited edition pins, one to comemmorate each year of operation. This 36 pin collection celebrates moments, experiences or attractions from each of the 35 years of the Florida destination. This is the thirty first (31th) pin in the series, and has the 35 year Mickey Head logo. Walt Disney World Resort commemorated the 100th anniversary of the birth of Walt Disney with a special celebration that began on October 1, 2001. The event was titled, “100 Years of Magic”. Walt Disney and all his stars are featured in this beautiful pin. This pin features several pins-on-pin: Mickey Mouse holds a paint brush and is painting Walt’s portrait. Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy appear in stars around the frame. This pin is mint on original picture card, original retail price of $12.95. Limited edition of 2500, pin pics ID 48594.
